Warranty Repair Process

Please kindly see below for detail of coverage. If the damage resulted from a defect in materials or workmanship, McKlein will, at our expense, repair or replace the item if not repairable. You are responsible for the cost of shipping to our repair facility. We will recommend the best course of action. For example, depending on the problem, it might be easier to DIY or have the work done by an authorized McKlein dealer or shoe repair shop close to home. McKlein's average repair time is 2 to 10 business days. Handle, wheels and locks usually take five days. 

  1. Submitting an online form with a brief description of the issue. Once Customer Service has reviewed your request, you will receive a Return Authorization number, shipping instructions and a request for additional information if necessary.
  2.  Pack and address Securely repackage your item. Affix the Return Authorization form to the outside of your package. We cannot process returns without a RA reference or accept responsibility for packages we do not ship. Please keep the tracking details for your records. We strongly recommend that you use a reputable insured carrier or recorded delivery service as the item remains your responsibility until received by us at our offices. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Packages sent COD will be refused.

Limited Lifetime Warranty 

  • Most McKlein products are protected. We will cover the damage to your item caused by a defect in the workmanship or quality of the materials. We hold the right to either repair or replace the item. Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover harm resulting from abuse, neglect, improper handling or common carrier damage. Ordinary wear and tear is not covered under Limited Lifetime Warranty. Moving parts such as wheels, handles and mechanical parts are covered under our Limited One Year Warranty. Warranty covers return shipping if the claim is made within 30 days of the purchase.

Covers:

  • Moving parts (wheels, handles, mechanical components)
  • Manufacturing defects

Excludes:

  • Wear and tear
  • Misuse or mishandling
  • Carrier-related damage

McKlein reserves the right to repair or replace items under warranty.

Exchange Policy 

  • Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of shipment
  • Items must be unused and in original condition
  • A Return Authorization (RA) number is required prior to return
  • This policy only applies to non-defective items

Return Policy

If your item was not purchased directly from McKleinUSA, please contact the original retailer for their return policy. Our Customer Service team is happy to assist in directing you to the correct retailer contact. 

Products are eligible for return if they meet the following requirements:

  • Unused and non-defective
  • Returned within 30 days of purchase
  • In original packaging
  • With all original parts and hang tags attached

Please note, a 5% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns. If products are missing original packaging, parts, and hang tags, refunds may be delayed or denied.

Refund Policy - Cancellation

Please note that McKlein reserves the right to issue a partial refund of the Purchase Order (PO) amount in the event of an order cancellation. In such cases, McKlein may deduct a cancellation fee equal to 3% of the total PO value, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the consumer.
